Henfield Common to Woodmancote Place

Sometimes there are cows grazing in these fields. Cross again to the next
style straight ahead.
Continue straight on (wooded area to your left) towards Shiprods. Go through
the gate and turn left in front of the house. Over another style you will
notice the beautiful lake to your right.
This is a beautiful stretch of the Adur with an abundance of wildlife.
Then turn right across the farmers field to the gate. Turn left and follow
the road until you pick up the foot path again.
Go
through the gate and into the woods. The path runs parallel to the river.
When
you reach the next 4-way sign turn left. Cross the river and back to the
beginning of the walk.

Shermanbury Circular
This is a really varied walk of around 1 hour 40 minutes. It follows a beautiful
stretch of the River Adur before crossing into woodland and along to the
14th Century church of St. Giles.
In winter, this walk can get rather muddy in places so wellingtons are advised!
