You may be wondering why we have gone to all this trouble to put together a web site for our village.

Well, the answer is this our company - Netescape Ltd - has been in business since 1995 delivering sophisticated web site applications to a predominantly public-sector orientated market place.

In all the years we have been in business, we have naturally acquired a number of internet related skills and worked on many diverse and exciting projects. However, with all this knowledge we have never had the time (or resources) to put together a non-work related web site of our own.

Then in June 2005, Henfield resident James Foster came to work with us on his work-placement year from Bournemouth University. We hope that James has acquired a number of skills to provide him with a broad range of abilities for his future career. As part of his 'education' we thought it would be enormously useful to enable James to participate in a project of his own from conception through to final delivery. And thus, henfieldvillage.co.uk was born.

The entire team at Netescape has been actively working on this project with James and hope that it will prove to be an invaluable resource not only to Henfield residents but to visitors and 'virtual' web visitors alike.

By offering each business a page on the site for the small sum of £8+vat per month, it is hoped that we will be able to cover the annual hosting and maintenance costs of the site.

This represents excellent value for money to all businesses and with the expertise of a professional team behind it, you can rest assured that the site will be promoted to a truly global audience.
