About Rye Farm

All of our animals are born and raised on Henfield Brookland - next to the old Railway Line. We care for them according to the highest welfare standards. During the summer our beef cattle and sheep graze the ric organic meadows and in winter, when the land is often flooded, they come into airy barns and are fed on hay and silage that is made on the farm. Having lived at Rye Farm for over 20 years, we care for, an love this natural area which has an abundance of wildlife.
Since we started farming over 20 years ago we have used mainly organic farming methods. In 2001 we gained full Soil Association accreditation in recognition and as certification of this. We also use local, accredited suppliers to process our produce - this ensures that animals do not have to endure long distance transportation. By using organic farming methods we are protecting and enhancing the land and its inhabitants, whilst at the same time producing healthy food products.
Our Meat
We produce top quality Beef and Lamb which has been traditionally hung for superb flavour and succulence. The meat is freshly frozen, in a variety of cuts. We sell our produce in convenient, frozen quantities and will deliver your order to you free of charge (within a 3 mile radius).
