We believe church is an exciting place to be!

The leadership team at Community Church - Henfield have a passion to build a local church with New Testament values, which is accessible and welcoming. We believe in the ongoing work of God’s Holy Spirit and long to see Him at work in our lives on a daily basis.

The style is informal with a live band and interactive presentations. We offer friendship, acceptance and an environment where we can know forgiveness, which is at the heart of the Gospel. The Gospel is all about enjoying God and actually means Good News. The bible is full of people doing exactly that.

Worshipping God can be an amazing experience and we love to freely express our love to God as we sing and pray to Him. Prayer brings us close to God and often brings dramatic answers to our problems.

Christians don’t claim to be perfect; it’s God’s kindness that sets us free from guilt and fear.

The Christian life is packed with Purpose!

We don’t just meet at 11am on a Sunday morning; we have a full programme throughout the week for children, teens and adults where everyone can be a part of our extended family.

ALPHA - We run regular Alpha courses for both adults and youth. This gives a helpful introduction to the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere where questions are welcomed and discussion is open. There is no charge and you are welcome to contact us anytime to register your interest.

HOUSEGROUPS - Midweek housegroups are designed to encourage conversation, worship and prayer in an informal environment where deep friendships are established.

YOUTHWORX - Is a high-energy teens activity, which provides a safe social context with games, fun and silliness. There are trips, camps, art, dance and music workshops for school years 7 and upward.

Doors open at 10am for an infomal start with morning papers, coffee and cakes for you to relax and chat with others before our meeting starts at 11am. We expect to finish around 12.30pm. You are very welcome to join us for the whole meeting or just drop in to read the paper and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
