Jazz at the White Hart
A series of jazz evenings are being staged at the White Hart, Henfield.
Live Jazz with "Ultraswing" on Thursday 18th Sepember
at 7.30pm.
Since its formation in 1995 Ultraswing has become one of the UKs firmly
established and experienced Gypsy swing bands. The bands sound is driving,
vibrant and exciting presenting Parisian Hot Club Jazz favourites played
as originally intended .....with passion and energy.

Jazz with the "Buster Birch Trio" on Thursday 2nd October at 7.30pm
The Buster Birch Trio (featuring Jim Treweek on piano). A modern jazz piano
trio featuring some rising stars of the UK jazz scene. A contemporary sound
with original ideas and great musicianship. They have backed the likes of
Peter King, Gerard Presencer, Jim Mullen, Alan Barnes, John Etheridge and
Bobby Wellins.

Bass. "Conjuring up a night life on the most elegant boulevard in Paris
with their infectious French gypsy jazz beat...."
"Sweet & Lowdown" on Thursday 30th October at 7.30pm
Sunny acoustic jazz and Latin classics from noted Brighton singer Rachel
Myer backed by Paul Richards on nylon string guitar and Eddie Myer on double
bass. This versatile combo will bring a breath of summer, moving effortlessly
from mellow to hot and swing and back again...
